Speaking as someone who doesn't really paint cars so I'm truly just curious - would it not be less hassle to remove the front bumper cover and then paint the cover and fender detached from the car, and then reattach them afterwards?

Nice work! Can you tell me what those plastic curtains in your shop are, and where you got them? I am limited for space doing bodywork and would love to protect my parts shelving from overspray and sanding dust

Thats funny I just repaired a pearl white car with damage in the same spot on the fender. I actually ended up getting a A grade condition fender from LKQ that was the same color for $120. Paint matched great, no paint work needed. Fast and quick repair!

Hey Sam, sounds like your audience is very savvy in the field, except for me of course :-). I just painted for the first time, epoxy actually (as per your suggestion), but I noticed that I got a lot of paint come out of the gun with each spray. I regulated the airflow to 25-30psi as some suggested but, I noticed you sometimes even give a second coat on the fly and still looks like a robot painted it. Of course you have the experience, so I'm not trying to compare my work to yours, but, is there anything you can tell me I can adjust on my end to improve the spray? I got several run-ons or drips (not sure how the industry calls them).
