Classic Game coming back with a greater feel for the universe created by the Novels. Can't wait. Its been a long time coming. The Mechwarrior Games and Battletech Universe have been extremely successful, I believe it will continue with this game.

The Battletech RPG isn't restricted to 'just' mechwarriors but frankly we all know what it is that is the defining characteristic of Battletech and it's them huge, hulking, bipedal death machines. They are split into several groups E.G.
Scout Mechs - Cougar/Puma
Heavy Mechs - Mad Cat
Assault Mechs - Atlas, Prometheus
Considering that the most recognisable aspect of the franchise is huge walking tanks I am surprised that there aren't that many games about it.
