My wife and I were huge Nightwish fans, but this by far was our favorite song. She passed away from cancer 3 years ago now, and I look at the title of this song now and think how fitting it is because I had to say "bye bye beautiful" to her and still do

I love all of their singers. All three are so different. Every era of Nightwish always breaks new ground. Love this band.

Each singer had their own unique voice, Tarja graceful, Anette more mainstream, Floor aggressive, I think what I admire about Nightwish the most, was that Tuomas and the whole band, they didn't try to replicate the same style as the previous singer and tried a new approach. You have to give them credit for that while still making great music, despite it would piss off a number of fans. Tarja songs, Anette songs, Floor songs, I loved them all.

The presence of Annete, at that time, gave Nightwish different sound. They are adaptive, and thats good, since every songs with Annete is totally rocks ! Well Annette is the least popular vocalist in Nightwish, but her two albums with Nightwish was awesome. She can be proud of it. Nightwish however, can be proud too.
