When I first found this on the internet and listened to it, I fell in love with Benjamin Nominet's voice. I listen to it on repeat and the ecstasy never dies. This is even better than the original, honestly. This song is indescribably beautiful and heavenly, with, unexpectedly, profound lyrics, for something titled "Doomsday Party", which one would expect to be nothing more than a wild orgy song. But this, in fact, in spite of being non-religious, has the effect that modern Christian music fails to have.
Benjamin uses the word "welkin" I this song, and I recently discovered that it's a literary word for the sky.
