I'm personally going to wait for either a sale, or an annoucement of a performance mode being added. I'd take 60fps over RTX personally and honestly a peformance mode should be a feature by default in every triple A release.

Good review. I think Skill Up was right to say that this game was meant to be a live service game but due to what happened with Marvel Avengers they did a mid development “hard pivot” and what we’re left with is an unhinged experience. Similar to how you described it. I cringe at how members of this dev team essentially blamed anything but themselves for the technical issues.

The UI is so mobile-y it's hilarious. Look at the size of the fonts. It's like the designers went into "well there's really nothing to fill the screen with so let's just go bigger"

The whole time I was following this game I couldnt shake the feeling that it looks and feels exactly like Marvels Avengers, just like a deja vu.

Thank you for doing these. I felt on the fence about it a long time ago when they showed more combat which didn't look right to me. This video helped me make a choice. I think people online are climbing on the fact that its locked at 30fps and blaming consoles or poor optimization when in fact the game has more serious issues to look at when it comes down to actually having fun. I really doubt 60fps would have made a difference when taking into consideration the cons mentioned here. Definitely a wait for a sale.

I already saw a few reviews so I thought “this video will likely mirror those shared points” but this was just next level video game review. This was narrated and edited in a way that I could 100% understand what id be in for and I (and many others) just don’t have that time or effort anymore to find out ourselves if it’s even worth seeing if it gets better.
Loved the section about the audio.
