I grew up on the southwest side of Chicago. Belt railway was in the neighborhood. Currently living in Nicaragua, where I have not seen a train yet. I heard there are some in the port city that go to the capital.

7:26 Amtrak - I wondered the same thing as it went by. I don't think it's the Empire Builder... seems too short to be that train, which splits in two segments (or gets longer) in Spokane, WA, depending on the direction.

You should do more rail fanning videos! Come to the east coast and watch all the trains running on the NEC!

Lots of train action, never gets old. My wife and I live in CT, last summer we took the Shore Line East train near our house to New London, jumped on a ferry to Orient Point New York (Long Island), then took a bus to Greenport. Fun day, wanted to do it without a car.

At @3:02 yes Belmont Metra station is at Belmont Road in Downers Grove, IL on Metra's BNSF line terminating at Aurora, IL. At @5:55 yes! Metra still has the Mars light! 🧐🥳
