What is perimeter?
Perimeter is the distance around a two-dimensional shape.
How to Find Perimeter?
Perimeter of any two dimensional shape can be found by adding all sides.

Perimeter of Triangle:
Formula for finding perimeter of triangle is:
Perimeter of Triangle=a+b+c
Where a and b are the two sides and c is the base of triangle.

Perimeter of Square:
Formula for finding the perimeter of a square is;
Perimeter of square=4a
As square has all the four sides of equal length so we just multiply any one side by 4 to get the perimeter.

Perimeter of Rectangle:
Formula for finding the perimeter of rectangle is:
Perimeter of rectangle=2(L+W)
Where L is the length of rectangle and W is the width of the rectangle.

Perimeter of Circle:
Perimeter of a circle is actually the circumference of a circle.Formula for finding the perimeter of circle is the same as that of circumference of circle as below:
Perimeter of circle=Circumference of circle=C=2πr
Where r is the radius of a circle.

Perimeter of Parallelogram:
A parallelogram is a quadrilateral in which both pairs of opposite sides are parallel.Formula for finding the perimeter of parallelogram is:
Perimeter if parallelogram=P=2(a+b)
Where a is the side and b is the base.

Perimeter of Trapezium:
A Trapezium is a quadrilateral with one pair of parallel sides.Formula for finding the perimeter of trapezium is:
Perimeter of trapezium=P=a+b+c+d
Where a and b are the base, and , c and d are the sides.

Perimeter of Rhombus:
A rhombus is a parallelogram with four congruent sides. For finding the perimeter of rhombus , add up all the sides as :
Perimeter of Rhombus=P=4a
Where a is the side of rhombus as all the sides of rhombus are of same lengths.
