Easy Glass Noodles w/ Ground Pork Recipe

Today we are making stir fry noodles with minced pork. It has a weird name call 蚂蚁上树, which translates as ants claiming on the tree. Don’t worry, ants are not on the ingredient list. It is describing that the ground pork looks like ants and the noodles are like the tree branch. I do not think it looks like that at all. But this is a mouth-watering recipe that must try. Also, it is quick and easy. So let’s get started.

I’ve made this dish many times in the past 6 months. It’s exactly like Mandy described: it is fast, delicious, easy, and requires only ingredients already in a person’s pantry. Thank you again for another fabulous dish!

Yesterday I tried your recipe for chicken fried rice, it came out superb. It tasted exactly as from my favorite Chinese restaurant. Thank you for this glass noodle recipe. I have been buying all the spices and sauces and noodles you recommend...I still have two boxes I haven't unpacked yet...lots of different types of noodles. I tried black vinegar, and cooking wine you mentioned. And now I see what the difference is between light and dark soy sauce..especially if they're actually Chinese imports. SO Wonderful! Thank you....for making me able to cook the food I love.

Tried this recipe today and it was so good. Got all the listed ingredients from a local ethic supermarket, followed your instructions to the letter and this was the best authentic tasting Asian recipe I’ve even made. Thanks so much for this recipe.

This is now the 3rd recipe I’ve cooked from “Souped Up” and I can honestly say, this is THE BEST Asian food I’ve ever eaten. THE BEST!!! Also the first time I played with the recipe a bit, to suit my taste. Just can’t say enough about this young lady’s talent as a chef, and teacher. Can’t wait for recipe #4. Will make her lo mein and I’m sure it will be FANTASTIC!

Young lady, this is a very nice recipe, being a 56 yr. old Irishman from rural Kentucky, i do not get the opportunity to eat very much asian food, but this looks delicious. We waste nothing here, & my fave part of the hog/pig are the cheeks, i do not know the meat to fat ratio, ( if there is to much fat for you, can always drain some or sop up with paper towels out of the pan/wok using tongs) but if you have never tried them, they are delicious. I ground them with my meat grinder. I think you have a very promising career in the food sector/industry. God Bless you & yours

Thank you so much for the recipe. I only have a little ground pork and didn't know what to do with it. I think I'll add some peas and eggs as well. I love stir fried bean thread noodles!

I made your glass noodles today. I used green and red bell peppers instead of chillies. It turned out very very delicious. It cooked up so smoothly.
