From the moment the video started, I said YESSSS!
It’s when they float in front of the pupil is when you want to punch something.

I hate when it gets stuck under my eyelid. Then I literally have to rub it in a downward motion to get it out. It’s so uncomfortable!!!

I hate when mine gets this excessive!! I enjoy the pull but hate the excessive Build up. It’s not quite Eye Fishing Syndrome as I told my doc about 20 years ago. Now it’s now so related to a Sjögren’s Syndrome/ Dry Eye Syndrome -autoimmune syndrome flare up.

Doctor here, don’t do that. Your eyes create that when the eye is irritated. Touching your eye to grab it and yanking it out of your eye will cause more irritation and just make more come back. Use eyedrops to attempt to flush it out and see if your doctor can prescribe medicated ones.

Initially this mucus is caused by irritants, mainly allergies. Allergies to animals, allergies to chemicals, allergies in the air such as seasonal allergies, allergies to Eye make up. However it is made worse by fishing it out. When you touch your eye, your eye considers this an irritant and it will make more mucus to try to isolate the allergen in your eye and flush it out. So the more you touch your eye and do this, the more mucus your eye will make and it will continue to get worse and worse. I know it’s very tempting to want to get it out of there, but let your eye naturally flush it out in the corners of your eyes and then remove it With a cotton swab. Just a suggestion.

I get these around cats and horses. I’ve only met one other person who’s experienced these strings. They itch and it feels like a stick is in your eye until removed. The relief is immense.

If you have thick strings like this coming out of your eyeball this is a type of pink eye & means you are allergic to something getting in your eye (i.e. makeup or detergent) take care of your eyes, this isn't normal & shouldn't be apart of your routine

I have indoor and outdoor allergies. I get these all day everyday. I make sure my hands are clean and my nails isn't long. If I'm around animal fur? It's worse. The color comes out green. I don't sweep my floors I mop my floors to keep the dust down and I wash my face as much as possible. Pollen sticks to my eye lids. Sometimes those boogers hurt my eyes so I have to get it out ASAP.

I deal with this every summer..
I'm allergic and i have blue eyes, wich means that is more fragile than the browns one...
and when they turns red, man, it hurts!
But please don't put your fingers in, it will be more bad... Try to pull it out with a q-tip. ✌
