Initial teacher training qualifications such as CELTA are well established and widely respected by employers and candidates. At the same time, there is some scepticism about how effective a short training course can be. This presentation discusses some of the criticisms of initial teaching qualifications and discuss how much can realistically be delivered in an intensive short course. Presented by Tim Banks.
