Great movie. Monica and Timothy had amazing chemistry. Seriously, she owned every scene she was in. She deserves a Supporting Actress Oscar nomination.

I’ve been listening to many of Dylan’s albums for months and I can’t believe how much Timothee Chalamet sounds like him (playing guitar, harmonica, and singing words accurately!)…and the musicians also have it right on!! Will see the movie on Tuesday afternoon…can’t wait!😮❤😮

I thought this movie was a great spiritual successor to "Walk The Line", and Cash's presence and role in the film + this song's presence really ties it all together.

Just saw the movie. This performance was by far the best.

Joan Baez has the crystal clearvoice of a nightingale, a very powerful tremulous voice. Monica is not bad, Timothee does a great job of immitating dylan and the harmonica and guitar are very good.

Even better than the Reese Witherspoon and Joaquin Phoenix version

If Monica doesn't get an Oscar nom, I'm going to be upset.

Having just seen the full movie, my opinion is that she does not sing exactly like Joan Baez. Whereas, Timothee sings exactly like Bob Dylan. As soon as I got home, I listened to Baby Blue a few times. Inspiring.

Monica took on an unfortunately "impossible" task. She is fine at replicating Joan's style but nobody has Joan's fantastic inimitable soprano voice. Joan's voice can be ineffably beautiful at times -- especially during those years. If you need a primer listen to any of her first five albums on Vanguard records. Bob Dylan referred to it as "Heart stopping soprano".
