The best part about this is the way ali read that the kid was a little shy so he forced the fire in him out “dont be freightened brotha” then praised him right when he seen it, that kids ego changed forever that day, ali was great with the people thats what makes him the goat RIP

I was so blessed to briefly meet the Champ in his later years (when he had difficulty walking or movement in general.) I was maybe 12. My friend Chris was with me. And as Mr Ali was slowly making his way past us with the assistance of his 2 valets he notices how tall Chris is (looked like Kurt Rambis w/o facial hair). Suddenly Ali takes a quick step, squares up to Chris, puts his fists up, drops shoulder, shifts stance, bobs head while taking another quick step. Happened so fast his valets at first thought he slipped and was about to fall. It was so quick and so smooth. Legit poetry in motion. Then He stopped and smiled dropped one hand while reaching out with the other to shake Chris hand. Then proceeded along his way.

I've been a fan of Muhammad Ali, all my life. I went to many of his fights. He was phenomenal, his foot work Stellar!
There's never been anyone like Ali. A brilliant man with a beautiful heart. A proud Muslim.

This man didn't just have common knowledge but he had emotional intelligence, he knew by saying "he's pretty good" what it would do. He was way ahead of his time, wish we had more words of wisdom from Ali, I'd be more than grateful.
