It´s finally done!! Finishing this animatic took me a little longer than I thought, but I am SO happy with the result - hope you guys will like it too!
Also I put in a little more budget (aka time and shading) towards the end, so there´s a slight artstyle change, hope it´s not too jarring- XD

Looks like a battle from Avatar the Last Air Bender between a swamp bender and a traditional water bender. Quite neat.

This is such an enchanting depiction of the song. Having her look like a spirit within all these vines and water has me in awe of every panel!! The use of lighting from 1:35 onwards is so awesome and makes their duel mesmerising 🪴🧡

I like the drama that you created with shadows. : ) The vines were also an interesting touch.

There were a few times that I had difficulties differentiating between the characters based on their looks. She has horns, yes, but those are not always in the frame. Maybe there could be more differences between their facial features, body shape and even ”colour scheme” (light/dark in this case)?

Also in the beginning there is a discrepancy between the timing of the song and timing of the animation. Maybe the initial shot depicting her sitting on the stone could be moved later or removed altogether? I like how you show him wandering and looking around in the forest, but based on the lyrics he should reach the pond sooner. The way you animate her answering his question is nicely timed, though. : D

Maybe there could a pig hiding amongst the bushes to contrast with her answer?

In any case, good job! I’ve never animated anything as long as this myself. : )
