Mike Schmidt!!! What a legend! David's example of "booing" in Philly is spot on. Lived here my whole life, this is the way we've always been. Recently (past year or so), both Claude Giroux and Bryce Harper have commented about the booing and admitted it was the fans expecting more, not being angry. We are critical because we care, because sometimes the effort shown is more important than the score of the game. This is an excellent comparison for how so many of us consider ourselves progressive democrats, yet our criticism is mostly pointed at the democratic party and not across the aisle. We expect more, we know we have the ability and resources....we're just upset to see our party slack off and essentially beat themselves, rather than get beaten.

6:30 sorry David I'm not buying that theory. Their internalized PayGo mindset was pretty absent when they gave $4trillion to the 1%.
It only ever seems to kick in when it comes to helping the poor and working class.

Although what I think is needed in this country are large scaled walkouts from jobs, large scale protests, workers organizing themselves, and people getting involved heavily in the political process. Otherwise, it will be same ol' same old in America.
