Yeah, kids need to be out of school if they have lice. Period.

I think the fact that the schools don't notify parents that their kids are in a class of 20+ other kids some of whom have lice, is the reason there is an uptick in cases, not because kids put their heads together for selfies.. what a stupid world we live in.

Why on earth would you send your kid to school with this?? My son got it from a kid at school whos and I’m pissed off beyond belief.. to the point I’m confining the parents in front of everyone if need be about it when they are at the school picking up their kid. If your kid is sick or has something that can spread to others don’t be a douche bag and keep your kids home! There is absolutely no reason their son should of not only came to school but took my kids hat and intentionally put it on. We didn’t know that happened until two days later but by then it was to late.. I don’t care who I embarrassed or if it’s considered being a bully you bet your ass I’m confronting them in front of whoever so it doesn’t happen again

Dealing with it now. 2 weeks later. As long as there are no bugs i have been told my daughter can go to school. This is a pain in the butt for sure.

Just found out my kids have it. I don’t send my kids to school if they do, and damn sure don’t let my kids stay the night with someone if they have it ..which is where it came from now. I use tea tree oil shampoo to try to prevent it, but here we are again. Having 5 kids doesn’t help, but parents not thinking this is a big deal definitely isn’t helping either. This is expensive, time consuming, and most importantly your child has to deal with it.

I bet she bags the bugs and gives them back to the nurse to drop in kids hair when they do their checks… she’s expecting… bc she already knows hahaha

I've had lice for like almost my whole life and i go to school with it most people just ignore it its really not something someone should be mad about i think u people just have to mind ur own business if u see someone with lice ok
