+OrchestraEnlighten *Thanks for the primer.* I usually think of an orchestra for modest halls as having on or about 18 strings (e.g. 8 violini, 4 violae, 4 violoncelli, and 2 contravioloni) with one each necessary woodwinds and brass for a given work. Enough resources to fill the mean-size ballroom.
