If the earth is isolated from the switchgear, and there is an EF, the EF relay may not effective operate and isolate the fault, if my understanding is correct? most of the time, I saw as cable bottom entry, the earth braid is brought out and connected together to the gear chassis, which is Earth...a HFCT is clamp on earth braid, PD should not be picked up..correct?
