What about negligent tenants whose filthy habits and destructive behavior that trashes communities and ruins things for the responsible tenants living in the same community?

How about keeping out-of-state slumlords from purchasing property? Oh, that will never do; GA is for sale to anyone with the right price.

That’s awesome. They want to collect rent but don’t want to spend. It’s always about accountability. I love that piece of legislation.

A friend of mine went over there this weekend without the cameras and he says it's REAL! He said some of the apartments look like bomb sites.

Eventually those apartments will be condemned and destroyed. Those people will cry about not having anywhere to go. The lot will be vacant for years because Atlanta charges too much for permits.

This is about time and decades behind as usual. What communities do this affects the most? Who's the leadership in this city for decades? Long long overdue and now in force it unlike what you do in code violations in our communities..Action and not just legislation.

The City Council, Code Enforcement and the Tenants are the ones that are at fault and not the Landlords. I have been a Real Estate Investor, Real Estate Broker, and Landlord for over 25 years and the Towns that I invest in the City Council and I have a GREAT relationship. I'm not sure why the City Council wants the DA, and others involved, why not enforce the LAW!!!! called WARRANTY Of The City Council are going to force the Landlord to sale their properties, to another portfolio-Hedge Fund Investor. Now that the properties have been renovated the rents will increase, and the previous tenants will not qualify for the new rental The Tenants will now have the CITY COUNCIL to Thank for The City Council should rethink their plans and try something diffrent and please tell the Tenants they should respect where they live.

Working class rentals have been pushed as ivestment oportunities for years. Big name republicans screaming about inflation tend to be all in with holding companies. These companies are notoriis for not renewing leases, and always raising rents. What do you think that does to inflation and homeless encampments?

I understand the need for responsible landlords, but they also need responsible tenants. The properties should be routinely inspected and if tenants are destroying property and living in their own filth, they should have their section 8/low-income status and vouchers revoked. The property should be respected by owners and tenants.
