This soft, dreamlike piece, called "Ellette," was composed by David Hicken and released on his 2008 album Faeries. This album of solo piano music was the final album in a trilogy; the others being Angels and Goddesses. With these three albums, David Hicken began to make a name for himself in the new age piano sphere.

David Hicken is an English pianist who started learning piano at the age of three. After becoming proficient at the organ, he moved to the United States to study piano and organ at university. He eventually moved to California, then spent some time in Asia before finally settling in Hawaii, where he continues to release new music videos and accompanying sheet music each year.
