There's no good reason to upgrade to the iPhone 16 unless your old iPhone is broken.

The two standout features are: (1) Apple Intelligence (which isn't even ready for prime time yet), and (2) the Camera Control button. Most users don't care about a new button; if they did, the Camera Control button would've appeared years ago.

Bought the 16 pro max from my 13 pro max. Bored of the old phone and want new features. Waited 3 years and that’s my usually wait Time

I upgraded my 13 Pro Max to the 15 Pro Max. The only thing I consider an upgrade was the jump to USB-C. My battery life stayed the same or worse, lost my physical SIM card and the 15 has been pretty buggy. If anyone has a 13 Pro Max with good battery capacity still, I would not upgrade yet.

Pass, I have the 15 pro max and I’ve had my hands on the 16 pro max.. the only real life difference is the screen is a tiny bit bigger. Not worth buying a new phone. Just get an iPad.

I just love the whole experience of pre ordering and upgrading every year. I just do the iPhone upgrade plan. And pretty much pay $50 a months forever lol

i’ve upgraded every year since iphone 4s. iphone 16 is just too boring, especially the colors! i don’t feel compelled to upgrade. i’m hoping next year will be better.

That’s a good point there is no real plus to pre-order it because I don’t get any deals and you’re right like if you pre-order with Samsung you get a storage upgrade but with Apple you just get hey thanks for the money so it’s better to wait and see after the reviews whether it’s worth upgrading. Now I have an iPhone 13 mini so I’m not upgrading no matter what the reviewers say I really like my little phone when I go for runs and also I am a wallcovering contractor and on my feet all day so just having a small phone in your pocket is perfect. My only problem is my eyesight is getting worse as I get older.

Was seriously considering switching from s23 ultra to iPhone 16 pro. Seeing the trade in credit from both my carrier and Apple. Absolutely not. It was already a downgrade from the s23 ultra. But I like apple software, but to have to pay $600-700 for that iphone is a rip off. S25 ultra. Let's hope you can do better!

currently have a 15 promax and 9XL but I would like to go in the store and see the 16 promax only because they made it bigger. I have to make sure it’s not going to be any worse holding than the 15 promax I’ve been getting a new iPhone since 2008.. I don’t know why people keep complaining about the prices all over Twitter. They don’t make the prices that’s why it’s called the free market. They can take their business somewhere else.

Thank you because this is exactly how I feel, there’s just no reason to upgrade unless you have a very old iPhone or money to waste for no reason. Disappointed in Apple the last few years regarding phones BUT their computers are still the standard.

I’ve taken thousands of selfies with the front facing cameras over the past few years, but have only used the telescopic main lens a handful of times, so I really wish they would improve the front facing camera.

One thing I think people have to consider as well is if you're based in Europe you will not be getting any of the AI features so then it will literally be no different than the 1514-13 and so on

Ive been using the S 24 Ultra since that pre order and I can't wait to go back to iphone 16 PM. Nothing wrong with the S24 just not a android guy
