Among the several interpretations of this wonderful song, to me, this one is the best of all. Ray Price had a awesome voice. I love his music. From a big brazilian fan. Rest in peace Mr Price.

😢this reminds me of my true love. 21 years ago, our relationship was falling apart.
He said to me, I would find another. I said that maybe not. Then my partner uttered "Dont say about a word about tomorrow". We separated 12 March and I was devastated. We briefly saw each other in 2019, but later he died.
This song brings tears to my eyes. 😢

While this song is usually associated with a breakup, the end of a relationship :( That recently took a 180 degree turn when I heard it while visiting a friend; It was the first time we alone together, and she had this cued up on her tape deck(serious old school :) Neither one of us are in a position to take things further. It was one of those magical moments, froze in time, . :)
