At time 2:06 shouldn't it be "quater imaginary base". See the wiki page on the subject or David Knuth's original article.

For the last bit of the video with the summation, I paused and tried to jump ahead and do it myself and started creating the very infinite loop that 1 + 11 = 0 prevents. :-P
