The New York Times says it obtained a portion of Donald Trump’s tax return from 1995, which shows the GOP nominee declared a loss of nearly $1 billion. According to tax experts at the Times, Trump could have legally avoided paying taxes for the next 18 years. NBC’s Katy Tur reports for Sunday TODAY.

Trump's taxes are sales tax, license plate fees, gasoline tax , and, oh yes, some property tax on criminally reduced property valuations. No income tax, which could have helped you and the country.
