In today's tutorial, I guide you through how to use dropbox in 2020. Firstly, I show you how to download and set up dropbox on your computer. Next, we explain the free file sharing and cloud storage features, as well as the other powerful features unique to dropbox.

Thanks Stewart - a very informative video - `i will be practicing! My question is - after downloading the app and paying for 2TB I was wanting to include my other gmail account. I have done this but the one I added doesnt show the extra space available? Do I need to do something else?

Best tutorial I've seen yet. One suggestion, though. Consider using a circle around your mouse so we can see where you are going. I got lost many times looking for your mouse to see where you were on the screen. Otherwise, 5 Stars if I could.

Great Video!!! Hoping someone can answer this question. I renamed a file (did not include extension, ie pdf). Message says, "something went wrong while previewing this file". How can I fix this? I would appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

Great video, I have a question btw. I don't have a dropbox account and viewed a few videos through some dropbox links/ files, so what exactly happens? Also will the dropbox users know that I viewed/accessed the links/files? I got worried since I saw messages saying "[User] shared this with you." when clicking the dropbox links/files and proceeding to the videos through the website.

This will be a bit of a long question/ multi step question but im hoping you can help me!

I am looking to sync my files between my laptop and desktop, and possibly ipad as i will explain later.

I am a music producer, and am a student so I would like to have my digital notes via (one note, or another note software notability for ipad), or, i would like a 2 in 1 laptop and use one note on there.

My question is, would one drive or dropbox work better for me? I would like to have these files for example a note stored, locally, as well as in the cloud so i have 2 forms of it right there in case i lose access to my dropbox account or one drive account, or my SSD Breaks. I would along with that back these files up to a google drive just for another storage, along with backup ssd. So do these files store locally and sync locally, or is it only a cloud based hard drive not taking space up on my computer/devices ssd? I would prefer a local sync, with it being backed up to cloud as well.

If you were me, what would you do for your file setup structure to save my notes and music files across devices so i can work essentially seemlessly with it being backed up so i dont have to worry about data loss. Thank you

I would like to know if you have a video that will show me how to create files to share with each of my clients so that only we can see and access them.
Where l can request files from them (lve just learnt that) and they can upload to the file we are sharing. No one else must be able to see this clients file.
I have set up a free business account so far and started to experiment but l'm not sure if Dropbox is what l need. Its vital that my clients cant see one another in my list of files.

A little upset here. I decided to try Dropbox the other day. Started downloading all of my files, folders and desktop from my Mac. That's when the problems started. All of the folders that I had organized on my desktop are now gone. The background on my desktop is gone and now displays a blue background. My screensaver is also gone. What did I do wrong and how do I reverse this?
