5 Tips When Mentoring Student Teachers

Had the pleasure of working with a student teacher this semester and here were 5 things that she shared really helped her in her learning experience :)

1. Write out classroom observations often
2. Let them grade student work and give feedback
3. Share what parent communication looks like
4. Gradually give them more control of the class
5. Give them agency in classroom decisions
