Been daily driving my 98 V70R for 4 years now.

170, 000 miles. Original engine, trans and turbo.

Wisconsin all its life. 99.9% rust free.

One of the best platforms ever built. I have a 98 V70 T5, a 99 V70 GLT, and a 00 C70 convertible.

I miss this car so much. I drove it from the Midwest to the pacific coast twice in the early 2000's. Took it to the redwoods, Mt. Rushmore, and the Great lakes. People thought it was newer than it was and the interior was better than anything I've driven since. After I had the engine rebuilt twice within a year I let it go for a 2012 Chrysler 200, it didn't feel like an upgrade.

I got a 2003 V70R never thought I’ll ever see myself driving a Volvo before I bought it, it been 2 years now, I can’t see myself driving anything else now

what do y'all pick?





the 850R is just far more remarkable and iconic because of touring car championships and top gear Africa, but i prefer the V70 R because of the AWD and the slightly higher ground clearance making it nicer to live with..
