'A lot of excitement' around VP Harris's running mate pick

Vice President Harris is expected to announce her vice presidential nominee pick tomorrow, which will include a digital video, social media components and a fundraising appeal. NBC News' Gabe Gutierrez and Steve Kornacki have the latest reporting. Democratic strategist and former Obama campaign advisor Ameshia Cross joins Ana Cabrera to share who she thinks the pick will be.

A Shapiro pick would absolutely slow down the momentum for Harris. Walz could just as easily take Pennsylvania for any voters that are actually on the table. Shapiros large margin governor win is easily explained by his radical opponent. Nothing extraordinary there
