Nice quick diag. Now to check continuity to the glow plugs through the wiring. Ya, I know, easier said than done. But I know, you can handle it!

Great video as usual! I personally prefer to test those plugs by measuring resistance. A little higher resistance for example 3-4 ohms might trigger a fault code on some cars but would still provide a path to ground for a testlight.

Did you ever get to the bottom of this. It's just that I've done a lot of testing, removed the air intake manifold, erg valve and pipes cleaned all out including entry ports new glow plugs . Checked wiring from plugs to relay. However I'm still get the p0683 code about the pre heat fault, plus the van now smokes like bloody hell after all that .

I usually test glow plugs on late transits at the multi plug by the cylinder head corner by timing chain cover never had Citroen relay so you could be right that’s the easiest access point on this vehicle

Hi I have replaced glow plug relay twice with new, but the relay is doing nothing its nit clicking on? How do I test the live feed coming into the realy? Thanks its a 2008 2.2 citroen relay van

I've been looking for a source for European vehicle wiring diagrams for years. Is Hella wiring diagrams available for hobby mechanics? I've got a 2010 Fiat Ducato with all kinds of electrical issues and trying to work on it without wiring diagrams is a nightmare.
