I feel like one of these days I am going to get Matt talked into buying a really terrible example of an exotic. I pitched him the backup Gallardo Spyder but he said it was way too rough. He is probably right but we will find him something.

It was amazing to see the difference in Matt's demeanor such a short time since he last VINwiki Car Stories. Great work Matt and thanks for the amazing garage transformation!

One of the deepest car stories on here. It's great to hear someone share their perspective on something you might not understand.

Hey Matt, I see both sides of your OCD. If I needed a car cleaning or my garage cleaning, you would be my GOTO guy. Obsession isn't a bad thing but it can be.... I love the way you have changed due to your involvement in the car community....keep doing your thang...

Bought one of my dream cars back in 2000 and sold it 7 months later after putting 1, 500 miles on it. Being obsessed on keeping it clean drove me nuts so I sold it and purchased a beater car that I did not care one bit about. Made me much happier! 👍🏻

VINwiki has to be one of the best and most sincere automotive channels on YouTube. Such an inclusive and accepting place to share everyone's journey.

A good story is always nice. A genuine story from Matt is great.

But does it have protection on top of the protection for the protection of the protection?

The best part of this story is that Matt is feeling better, and not letting his OCD completely take over his life. I am very pleased that he is coping with it, and is aware of the effect it was having on his life. I look forward to hearing from him again on VINwiki.

Matt, good on ya for talking about this. I have a young family member learning to cope with his OCD and it is good to hear people talk about things that help them cope with this hidden ailment.

It is great to see someone with such a serious condition, recognize, and push thru it all. Cars have always been therapeutic, be it interiors, electronics, paint, or good ol' greasy wrenching. Its a great platform for everyone.

Been following Matt for ages now, but thanx to this video, I once again realized why I like him as much as I do. When he said that as a detailer, he is the guy with the dirtiest car at the show because he didn’t habe the time to wash it properly, man that spoke to my soul ! I kmow that feeling all too well being a detailer myself. Matt, you inspire me so much !

Hobbies help deal with OCD. Even better when you can afford them.

Matt, I used to own a detailing company just before 2008, (now I don’t for 2008 reasons) but I still love to learn and I love to do restoration and paint work! I love your attention to detail (get it?) and I have learned a lot from you! I think your channel is fantastic, I have more of an Ed approach to my personal car ownership but I really value you as a member of the online car community and I really appreciated you making it to VINwiki for this video, I was really happy to see you again!

Massive respect for this guy. Living with himself must be very hard.

Love any car guy that either cleans his car for 2 hours, drives it hard on the track or just loves it as a daily. It's all good by me. Enjoy your cars anyway you like! 👍😁
