Your 6 p.m. Northeast Ohio weather forecast for May 8, 2023: A few spotty showers are possible this evening; however, the majority of the unsettled weather looks to head south of the area. Temperatures dive back near 50° overnight which is near normal for this time of the year.

By tomorrow, a lingering spotty shower or two is possible way early. The rest of the day, sunshine takes over! Temperatures lakeside will be cooler than farther inland. We'll likely hang near 60° or so if we're lucky in Cleveland as our wind shifts. Again, inland locations mid to upper-60s isn't out of the question.

If you've been waiting for days to get out and take care of the lawn or plant flowers ahead of Mother's Day weekend, tomorrow, Wednesday, and Thursday are more than ideal. Temperatures will get warmer day by day too...so, if you prefer something cooler, you may want to tackle outdoor projects the next couple of days. By Thursday, high temperatures will be back in the 70s widespread.
