For y'all 's information, this combination is blessed mask for your skin but there are two types of turmeric which you have to keep in mind, first one is the kitchen turmeric which we use in our food, which is also shown in this video that she grabbed the turmeric powder from her masala stack but this turmeric is not good for your skin it can cause rashes, burns and can also stain your face, this is only made for food, second one is wild turmeric which is called kasturi haldi which is specially made and grounded for our skin use that turmeric and not the kitchen one. Leading up tp my wedding, a lady was assigned the job of massaging and scrubbing my entire body with a turmeric scrub ( ubtan is what its called, look it up).Also this bridal prep is a common practice in India. For people who want to start using kasthuri haldi....always patch test.... its is quite important to dilute it with calming ingredients like yoghurt and rose water and apply. But sometimes it can still irritate the skin. So be careful... but if it works for you, it will really work well

I’m Pakistani and I can confirm we also use turmeric a lot. For example, my cousin has a lot of acne and my mom suggested some turmeric. After she took the turmeric substance off, she looked so fresh and bright like omg, it works guys.
