I imagine the opponent realizing he was up against the synchro deck went and took care of a few errands around the house while waiting for the end of the turn. Probably managed to make a milkshake after loading the laundry and sweeping the kitchen.

I love the visual of them having to sort monster vs spell cards after card destruction, imagining someone using two hands to separate them just amuses me.

The big gigachad moment of this was sacrificing more omni negates like Baronne just to get Shenshen *and* Herald so that all the monsters would be banished. Brilliant.

i actually did this T2 in a 2013 nats side event with a dragon ruler mirror match.

before I started, I asked for how many cards his list played, and he said 44 so I wasn't sure I could pull it off.

Literally got exactly the right number at the end.
