It’s called sculk sensor when a player gets detected by the sculk sensor by Standing near it it will Output a Redstone signal that can activate Redstone mechanics like doors.

It's a skulk sensor. People say the block is“overpowered” since you can make decent traps with it. And also you can only obtain it in commands

That is a skulk sensor. They are incredibly new and don’t spawn naturally in the world yet.
They are coming with the warden and basically they can detect sound. They’ll be useful for defending bases and such because they can detect footsteps.

The block is a sculk sensor. It's coming in the caves and cliffs pt2, and outputs a redstone signal when it senses vibrations, like walking or jumping - you can only get it with commands at the moment

12:35 that’s the skulk block, it detects your footsteps, actions, and projectiles. it can also power redstone wirelessly as well as let you know if the warden can hear what your doing by lighting up when the skulk hears you. meaning if you see the skulk light up, that means if the warden is nearby, he can hear you as well

That blue thing with tentacles that you first saw near the nether portal is a sculk sensor. You also see it at 12:37. It is a redstone mechanism that pickups various vibrations at various rates and outputs specific redstone strengths depending on what vibration it picks picks up. Currently you can get it with commands in the 1.17 C&C update, however it is expected that you should get it in the deep dark after 1.18.

also it's a sculk sensor: it makes noise to alert sculk scheechers to summon the warden, and the warden (but when you played it, the warden or sculk scheecher wasn't in game. So it was a decoration block in caves and cliffs part 2, I think)
