Taken from an Option video I picked up in 2006 while travelling through Japan. At the time I owned a 1990 Starlet Turbo and HRF (Hokue Racing Factory) in Japan were really pushing what was possible with these cars. In this video, a stock EP82 is tuned by HRF to take on an R34 GTR driven by Tarzan Yamada...the Starlet holds its own but mechanical failure sees the GTR take the victory in the end!
A few years after this video was made, I managed to buy a HRF V300 tuned Starlet and transplanted the engine into my car. You can see that build video on my channel also in the coming weeks!
