Tutorial: Using the JoVE LTI tool in Moodle

Follow this video tutorial to set up the JoVE LTI tool in Moodle.

Below are step-by-step instructions for setting up the JoVE LTI tool in Moodle:

-- Select the appropriate course from 'My courses' in Moodle.
-- Click on the Settings button on top right and select ‘Turn editing on’.
-- Click on ‘Add an activity or resource’ and select ‘External tool’.
-- Click ‘Add’.
-- Under General, and next to ‘Preconfigured tool’ click on the dropdown and select ‘JoVE LTI Tool’.
-- Click ‘Select Content ’underneath and sign in to your JoVE account or register for a new account.
-- Sign in or register for a JoVE account.
-- Select JoVE Content, for example ‘Science Education’.
-- Click on ‘Choose a Field of Study’ and select from all the available fields.
-- Choose the videos you want to include.
-- Click on the ‘Submit ’button and then ‘OK’.
-- Click ‘Save and return to course’.
-- Click on the Settings button and select ‘Turn editing off’.
-- Click on the LTI Tool and from here you can view all videos uploaded.
