So I was playing AX while watching this and came across a crown in the Mable sisters and was balking at the 1.2 million bell price tag at the same time Luke was shocked at the price of the synthesizer. I was going to let it go, but then Luke said "you can always get more money, but you can't get more synthesizers." So I am now the owner of a VERY expensive hat!

Theory: ACNH is set in the same universe as Mario Kart, i.e. the universe in which the Mario 3(?) play took place, where everyone's friends and everything is staged, the Donkey Kong tie in of the Snomad Tribe being the same kind of villain use as the Nazis in any movie ever, i.e. real life bad guys being used in place of a large group of fictional bad people for story purposes, whereas Bowser is more of a Bond villain (not actually a baddy in "real life")
