The inspiring story of Henry Blair, the second African-American in U.S. history to receive a patent. Born in 1807 in Maryland, Blair grew up working on farms, and although he couldn’t read or write, he was a natural inventor. In 1834, he revolutionized agriculture by inventing the corn planter, a tool that made planting crops faster and more efficient.

The reason these African Americans were so gifted in agriculture in the Americas is bc THEY WERE NOT AFRICANS BUT AMERICAN INDIANS....THEY KNEW THE CROPS AND THE LANDS FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS.

Smart young man. It's a shame he died so young. He was educated enough to invent the corn planter.
