I definitely think that this is an underrated way of doing 2d animation. Cuz nowadays, you’ve got either 2d cartoons that are rigged or “puppeted” or just same old 3D stuff

REAL 2D-animation/Traditional Animation NEEDS to come back. Im tired of people & companies not taking time to make animated movies on paper instead of in a computer. Sure i still want Comuter animated movies, ESPECIALLY from Pixar, BUT computers SHOULDNT take over EVERYTHING, like Skynet, ESPECIALLY the animation departments. Some things from the Old Era SHOULD be preserved.

I know ya have to be selective for a hundred years.... BUT WHAT ABOUT: "The Secret of NIMH" (1982) ... by Disney renegade Don Bluth, his first before collaborating with Spielberg on the original "An American Tail" and then with Spielberg and Lucas on the original "The Land Before Time".... Solid traditional animation. OOH, AND THEN: ... What about that other Disney renegade, Jeffrey Katzenberg teaming up with Stephen Spielberg on "The Prince of Egypt" (1998) ... Although there was a hefty amount of computer animation in this film, at its core was amazing traditional character animation. Well... that's my take.
