You forgot to add he's almost blind & relies on 'feel' on the pommel. He was sitting down focussed because he couldn't see anything thats going on around him. That's the most epic point of his performance❤❤

What’s crazy is they picked him because an algorithm said to. Normally, you want guys who can do multiple events. But he only does pommel horse. The U.S. team had a weakness at pommel horse, so this algorithm figured it was a better boost to have him just do one event, than to have someone that can do 2 or 3
