Interesting take on wealth. I realize that it all about money time swapping.. In each level you use the equity from last level to create more wealth. In level 1 you have time..you put time and get some money move to level 2 where you some money and some time.. you swap money and time to create more wealth to move to level 3 and so on. More money you have, more time you can buy to spend on to create more wealth. Financial independence is not only about wealth its about wealth in relation to to the time as well.

I'm in my early 30s on level 2 (restaurant freedom) with over $320k liquid asset + another $65k in registered pension plan. I rent and didn't buy a house. I'm currently earning $75k base + 12% bonus but live super frugally with around $2500 monthly savings.

I hear compensation is much higher in US than Canada. Would love to hear about your thoughts on:

- Going to US to earn & save more money?
- Doing MBA to increase earning potential? I sense MBA grads earn well but the program is certainly costly.
