Live Stream of the thanksgiving service for the life of late reggae musician and record producer Robbie Shakespeare who passed away on December 8, 2021.
The service will be held on Monday, February 7.

Thank you so much for this. So great that the german concert in essen, watched by millions in 1981, was shown during the funeral. After watching it, I had to buy the same bass Robbie played during that gig. These moments with Sly and Robbie playing the riddim of Abortion at the end of the gig are so great. Thank you Robbie for everything you did! Must have listened to hundreds of his basslines in Hamburg in the early 90s, where we had a huge dancehall scene and many soundsystems. Baltimore by the Tamlins might be my fav. A Randy Newman song, turned into Reggae by the great Nina Simone, than covered by jamaican artists with Robbie on bass. This is how connected we are! Thank you Robbie!
