Pritzker rolls back 'right to work' protections for Illinois workers

With the stroke of a pen, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker barred local governments from establishing 'right to work' zones on Friday.

Surrounded by organized labor supporters, Pritzker signed the Collective Barganing Freedom Act into law.

Under the law, employers and labor organizations can require workers to join unions or pay union dues, and bars laws that prohibit those rules.
