So many of your have asked me to try out Elmer's Squishy Maker and this was impossible to get because they don't ship overseas. Luckily, a friend brought me a box from the USA so I was able to make this video! This is a pretty unique product which lets you make all kinds of squishies. It's a lot more generous with the squishy resin than many other kits so you can use these with your own molds. The chemistry works very well and you can customise it using glue, paint, pigments, ink, glitter etc. The fact that it's not affected by water means you have a lot of room for experimentation.

DISCLAIMER: Amazon USA products are affiliate links which means I receive a very small commission if you buy it through here. I do not receive commission for links to Etsy or any other online store, though of course I still link those if I purchased a certain item shown in my video that viewers might want!
EDIT: There have been some good points raised in the comments regarding my comment about the characters not being appealing enough to girls. To clarify, that was in support of gender inclusion and more of a critique at the performative gender-neutrality of a product that loses sight of who the actual target market is. This kit really went into extremes to avoid using pink or anything that might be deemed too girly so it doesn't alienate boys or the parents of boys. That in itself feels fairly outdated. There are plenty of gender-neutral character designs that include pastel or cute elements (Animal Crossing, Pokemon, Octonauts etc).
Designs can exist as "girly" without meaning to exclude anyone who is non-binary. An example would be boys who love unicorns or makeup. They are not going to look for the blue/black/masculine unicorns but simply the typical rainbow, glitter unicorns that are already out there on the market. These types of craft kits are always predominantly for a female identifying audience so it doesn't make sense why they tried so hard to lean the other way.
I think the gender-neutral packaging for Elmer's slime kits are fantastic but this is a far more complex product. These kits basically combine a novelty DIY process with mystery blind boxes, a "collect them all" concept, plus tons of characters with unique names and origins. It has too many nuances to just apply the same branding that works for slime.
