Jack Cassidy and Robert Culp are the best and most iconic killers in Columbo. Jack Cassidy is generally more fun because of the smugness and dandyism of his characters, and Culp's characters are typically more professional types with repressed rage issues that sometimes come out when Columbo closes in on them.
My absolute favourite episode with Cassidy is Publish or Perish with his hilarious drunken rampage while establishing his alibi, closely followed by Murder by the Book, which is just so iconic.
My favourite quote of his in Publish or Perish is answering the remark of that older lady ("In your condition I should call the police!") with "Madam, in your condition, I'd call a plastic surgeon!"

Jack Cassidy is undeniably one of the greatest villains ever to appear on Columbo. Every one of his episodes are absolute classics. I especially loved the conclusion of "Murder by the Book, " the last one in the video, when Ken reveals that his murder plot was indeed his own idea - the only good one he ever had. "Whoever thought that idiot [his partner] would write it down!" That was a lot of fun, and it really worked.

And we lost him way too soon.

He basically played the same character twice. Great episodes, though. The fact that the murder idea was his only great inspiration for a novel was the icing on the cake.
