Traxxas Rustler 4x4 VXL- Tire Comparison (Backflip testing)

Testing out the Rustler 4x4 VXL stock Talon EXT tires against Pro-Line Mashers. Not too worried about traction, more concerned with if they help me get wild! Ended up doing a second upgrade I think (first and only other upgrade is aluminum shock caps).

I recommend pulling reverse mid air so that the flip is more stable. Great video!

After doing my first attempt of front flip on the bmx track with my kraton 4s and i menaged to land on wheels everytime im starting to worry a bit now lol if my car goes fonky in the air while front flip the result could be bad. Maybe the car is not well balanced 🤷‍♀️. I had a rustler 4x4 before but i sold it because it was not able to do any stuns crappy esc thermal thing cheesy driveshafts and weak body. But this shows that not every single can do frontflips safely. This is an example of one you might not damage the car with those ramps but when you are doing massive jumps if it goes wrong its going to hurt

Interesting.
Not a surprise on heavier tires and backflip...
But why so much harder to backflip than front flip?
And why does it not front flip straight? Seems front flips are usually in a corkscrew?
