This video is two years old, but it is timeless. You really explained the differences in waxes. Thank you

I just started making candles and wax melts. I am using Pillar of Bliss from Nature's Gardens for my wax melts. They scent throw is amazing! No complaints from anyone that have used the ones that I made. I don't have any complaints. I am going to stick with them. As for fragrances, I use Maplestreet and Lonestar.

Thanks for the tip, regarding the butcher paper. I have been using newspaper.

Hi Stanley,

Always enjoy your videos, I have now a successful candle business and have used your videos as a guide to help prefect my own candles.

I found it difficult to find the right sized wooden wick for my Soy candles, not only was it hard finding the best sized wick from wooden wick co it was also difficult to get a consistent crackle whilst using pure soy wax. Also I had alot of feedback from customers who never have burned wooden wicked candles about wicking out after lighting. Alot of people do not know about the maintenance that wooden wicked candles need.

Could you perhaps do a videos showing the perks of wooden wicks and the disadvantages of them. Also different waxes or blends to use!

Much love.

I find it helpful to keep a dropper/pipette to remove wax when I overfill

Your video came up on my YouTube feed even though this a 2 y/o video. Just saying hello from WA State as I saw that you were local to me. I'm a new subscriber to your channel because I'm interested in making my own scented wax melts (and maybe candles one day) for personal use and gifts.

Thank you for all your help. For me I want to melt or burn all natural. I don't really care about the snap I can cut them if I can't break a piece off.

First of all Thank you for all your tutorials! I have learned so much, how do you add a warning label with the clear label's? I love the look of the clear label's for these!

OMG this video was a prayer answered lol I was trying to figure out what to do with the 4636 wax I have, I don't like it for candles and it's too soft for melts so maybe adding 4625 will help me not lose money lol thanks Stanley, you saved my wallet lol

Hello 😊 Thank you for your really instructive Videos 🥰 Is it okay to mix two different waxes without taking they melting points into account, for candles two? 🙏😚

Thank you so much for your tutorials they have helped tremendously. I do have a quick question. When adding 2 oz 4625 to the 6006, are you adding 14 oz of 6006 to equal one pound or are you doing one pound 6006 plus 2 oz 4625 totalling 1 lb 2 oz?

because of you i am now starting up my own candle business on the side!!! i am so excited to start going i have made 2 candles and one wax melt and realized that the candle wax was wayyyy to soft for a wax melt so my other wax is here and i am going to get to making them!!! i have 2 candles that i am so proud of my very first ones i made i have to get the air pocket out but after that i cant wait to find out how it smells burning!! the one thing i have been seeing tho is that people are adding 3 oz per lb of wax... i think that may be to much?? for the 4625 wax?? and do i have to mix my softer wax with the harder wax??
