I love this song and this is the exact situation I've been in for the past few years... but this song does not transfer well to an acoustic version. Not too mention Hunter's voice isn't at his best here. And I'm not saying that the original music video was all autotune, cause I heard his first live version of this and it was just as good. There are parts that are really good and the are parts that are not so good in this version. I didn't like his piano version either... The song doesn't really fit with that instrument, it needs stronger emotional background... Pianos can be emotional, but it's either too low or high of a pitch in the video.
