OmniDog's Vault: Throwback Thursday 1 - Collector's Showcase - Cereal Boxes and Premiums

In the 1990's i had a show on local cable access called Collector's Showcase where I would highlight collector's and their collections. I thought it might be fun to take a look at them! Today's is Cereal Boxes and Premiums. Also, the video quality is not that great, it's gone through 4 or 5 different processes to get here!

If someone would have told me that I was going to spend 45 minutes of my day today watching a show about cereal boxes from 30 years ago I would’ve told ‘em they’re off their rocker! But here I am now, googling collectible cereal boxes and have no regrets. Great show Jess.

Collecting before the internet and ebay was soooo different. My first week on ebay I was able to get 9 of the top 10 books on my want list that I had been looking for for years.

This is great Jess. It has a very Huelle Howser feel. It's really fascinating what people were collecting at the time and how the collectable market was at the time. Also, I like your production company's name.

I loved Freakies and King Vitamin. Found a box of Quisp last month at my grocery store. You can now buy it online. Never had Fruit Brute or Yummy Mummy. My favorite cereal premium (other than the Freakies) were the 3D baseball cards out of Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes.
