I'm doing Loftus and Palmer so we have speeds as our data so I want to say its ratio data, however, there isn't consistent intervals. Which then leads me to think its ordinal but we didn't use a likert scale.

So for my IA we did an experiment on the dual-processing model of memory and the hypothesis was to see if changing the difficulty of the font questions are presented in will engage system 2 thinking more. If a mistake was made it was assumed that system 1 thinking was used and if an answer was given correctly it was assumed that system 2 thinking was used. What type of data would this be considered/would I use mode, mean, or median or all?

I am using a repeated-measures design and my data is ordinal. However, from the data, the median results are both the same. The only difference is the mean. Should I use the mean then? For the graph?

If our original study used mean, but because we have skewed ratio data and had to use median and IQR, how do we compare the two?

I'm mentoring a student who's done loftus and palmer for her ia and has two conditions. I'd think the the data is ordinal so would it be right to do a box and whisker graph for loftus palmer with median and range? It's just the other exemplars I've seen online have chosen mean and standard deviation for loftus and palmer with a bar chart so im slightly confused here.

In the results for the IA one outlier was found and my teacher told me not to use the median, as our results were still significant. What should I do?
