If Top Tier Germany Was Historically Accurate

I honestly wasn't sure there'd be enough wrong with the modern German military to make a historically accurate video with, but I was wrong. Turns out that Leopard IIs, Eurocopter Tigers, and PUMA AIFVs all suffer from a severe lack of spare parts, among other things. It's also funny how lenient Gaijin were with the Radkampfwagen.

Songs used (in order from first to last):
Halo: CE - Perilous Journey
Halo 3: ODST - Rain (Deference for Darkness)

DM63 is a lot more than just being consistent at lower temperatures. It's an APFSDS with a Grade 5 when it comes to IM (insensitivity), this mean the only way you can get rid of it is setting the ammunition on fire that will *very slowly* burn away, of course, Leopard 2s have fire extinguishers dedicated to just the ammunition. It's practically impossible to make DM63 explode according to available documentation.

That would remove the biggest drawback of the vehicle, making it pretty much perfect in War Thunder.

Could we get a video about the current state of ground rb maps? The amount of maps in the game where one team can shoot into the other teams spawn within a minute or two of the match starting is absurd.

-less than three leo 2s per match
-two pumas per match
-tiger helis randomly explode
-radwagon is now a wheeled strv 103

small price to pay for puma spikes

As a German, this video truly brought tears of laughing. Thanks man!
Especially spicy regarding the current kindergarten debate about ammunition worth of 20-30 Bln. € missing. Everyone knows about it, war in Ukraine lasts for how many months now? I should feel ashamed by this as a Vet but seriously? I don't even care anymore. Let Poland save us when time's coming. I will join them.

Edit: The Bundeswehr never had enough ammo after the desintegration of USSR. It's not that society does not like the army, most are just not interested in it since all our generation knows, is a life in peace, surrounded by friendly nations. To be threatened by other nations is just not in our minds and this also counts for the politicians. The problem is, our leader (Scholz) announced a social and military leadership role of Germany withing Europe. This statement was said on 27th February, right after RUS attacked UKR. And simply speaking, nothing happened since then. Not a single bit. And now everyone is acting with a suprised pikachu face because industry didn't raise their production. I mean, why should have done they? No one told them, "everything was fine". Oh boy...

Wait the driver of the radkampfwagen can't see where he's going? How did that get past the design phase lmao

What about "If top tier Russia was historically accurate"
- T-72A, T-72B, T-64, T-62, T-80B/BV/U never have any thermal sights
- T-series tank from T-64 to T-90 is the most consistent at cooking off its ammo if hits in the center of mass
- Contrary to popular belief, T-80BVM doesn't have spall-absorbing, penetrator-deleting material that absorb anything around its ammo carousel
- Due to low number of advanced APFSDS in stockpile, all 125mm armed T-series tanks only have 3BM42 or 3BM22 as its primary anti tank ammo
- T-62M, T-72B3, and T-80BVM have access to portable BBQ grill a.k.a. Cope Cage modification that does nothing
- There's 20% chance you'll be spawned in T-62M-1 instead when spawning as T-72 or T-80.

Hey spookston could you do a video on the premium CV90 apparently a lot of people claim it's overpowered and I'd like to see your take on it

LoL Thinking about readiness rates, Id love to see a Russian version of this. "With low spare parts, Only 1 T80 U of any kind can be spawned it at any given time across all servers". Join a top tier match and the game gives you T55s and T62s instead :)

the 2017 report is already a bit outdated and alot was fiixed.
In respect to the Puma and its display colors, it depends on the version.
Base version (A0) uses monochromatic displays, the VJTF version has full colored displays etc.

The current German military is what you get when a lot of money gets spent on consultants and daycare, but not a lot on the equipment. Also, bureaucracy.

You forgot "due to low ammo stores, each tank can only carry 1/4 the ammo."

This puma shit is still going on. The funny part is recently there was a letter from the Major General of the 10th Panzerdivision to the ministry of defense where he stated that all of their 18 Pumas are inoperable. 1 puma even had a cable fire in the drivers space

Should do a South African version for the British line, it'd be something like "The TTD cant actually be spawned in live games as it was only ever a prototype that was cancelled when the ANC took power" and "Crew skill is automatically set to the lowest standard due to poor training" and finally "Only one of every tank used after the Angolan bush war can be spawned as they have not been maintained since and are all in an unready state, also repair costs are increased significantly due to contracts with Cuban and German engineers and mechanics"

I think one of the most useful advantages of DM63 in wt would be that the round is by far less likely to detonate or burn down when hit.

The PUMA is a completely shitshow from a reliability standpoint too lmao

Nice vid! While the german army has massive problems with low readyness and lack of spares, you also gotta consider the german way of reporting that something is "not fully ready". A broken taillight is already considered "not fully combat ready" in their system.

Me: Leopard 2PL my precious

Spookston: *well achtually you're not able to spawn it in because Poland doesn't exist in the game as it was an export, plus it had more issues than you'd think so a chance for failure on any component is increased by pi^2(2.4153)/the golden ratio so only one can be spawned and it isn't even fully working, and most of the thermals and sights aren't able to be repaired or kept up to date so you might as well get out and look with your own eyes*

*puts Leopard 2PL back on the shelf
